Description

The Ultra-Sil Dry Bag won the sought-after Backpacker Editors' Choice award in 2006 and remains the ideal dry bag for backpacking and travel. Made with lightweight, waterproof bluesign® approved 30D Ultra-Sil fabric featuring Cordura® yarns, it's the perfect choice to organise your gear inside your backpack or duffle like a pro. The semi-translucent fabric makes it’s easy to see what’s in each dry bag. Other features include a non-wicking hypalon roll-top closure, an oval base to prevent the dry bag from rolling away on sloped surfaces and taped seams to keep moisture out. An excellent choice for lightweight backpacking, cycle touring and travel.

Frequently Asked questions

Is this dry bag suitable for paddle sports?

No. Featherweight fabrics are not appropriate for the sharp or abrasive elements in water sports. We recommend Lightweight Dry Backs for general paddle use.

Is this dry bag waterproof?

The body of the dry bag is waterproof enough (2000+ mm hydrostatic head) for use as storage inside a backpack or duffle. However, for water sports or on its own, we recommend dry bags with higher hydrostatic head ratings.

Is this dry bag worth the weight and cost?

Once you've experienced modular packing with ultralight, easy to pack, translucent dry bags, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.

Great product BAD COURIER!!!

"Pleased with my purchase but EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the courier used, DPD, who couldn't be bothered to deliver my house as instructed but left it at a collection point five miles away which delayed delivery by 4 days!!!!"

Does what is says on the tin (bag)

"I've had one of these for may years and they've always kept my gear dry despite leaky backpacks (not from Set To Summit), dropping on wet grass etc. I decided to get another specifically for my sleeping bag to replace a real heavy thing I'd used for years. The 8 litre one is perfect for my 3 season down bag (800FP down / 500g down fill /1kg total bag)"

Super light, not had them

"Super light, not had them too long so cannot vouch yet for how robust they are"

Perfect Dry Bag

"I don't need everything in my pack to stay dry, but the stuff that I do, really needs to stay dry. These bags are waterproof and durable. Perfect"

Seth M. (5/5)

Just The bags I needed.

"Just The bags I needed. I warm planning on using the 35L bags for my zero degree down quilts as emergency bag in my truck along with gloves matches beanie, ect.I bought some smaller bags with emergency gear in mind.I will setup with At least 2 bags for emergencies,. I figure a larger bag is easier to find In an emergency and the orange bags I have purchased are for the reasons and they are waterproof. Thanks Sea to Summit"

Dry Sack is Excellent for Backpacking

"I now use this as my main interior sack instead of a pack liner. It's not only useful to stay organized, but it's so much better than using the noisy plastic pack liner, especially when you are packing up and getting out of camp quietly. It's much faster compared to struggling with a plastic pack liner too, as the ultra sil just slips right into my 55L backpack easily. The dry sack does exactly what it does, and I haven't had an issue with moisture leaking inside."
