Have not had the opportunity

"Have not had the opportunity to use it out in the field. The price was on sale so that was good. The size and weight is good for backpacking. The construction is good but it kind of looks like it could break while using it. Don't know because I have not had the opportunity to use it and that is why I gave it 4 stars. I would still recommend it because I don't have a reason not to."

Adequate not great

"I’ve had the msr nylon cooking utensils for 15 years and thought it was time to work in some new equipment. I brought it along for an overnight paddling trip to make scrambled eggs. The spatula works fine. The only down side is it doesn’t hold tight in its extended position when in use. There’s a lot of give and bend as you use it. My concern is the locking mechanism will snap before long."
