One of my best purchases

"I purchased the previous version of this mat (inflatable mattress) in 2022. I don't often do reviews but this deserves one as I would describe it as one of the best purchases of my life. I hope the latest version is just as good as the model I purchased. The price tag is steep. I have done quite a lot of camping, but my sleep quality was poor and I felt sore the next morning. I bought this hoping to resolve that problem. . . and it delivered. I have now used this mat camping in the US, Scotland and New Zealand. While it it heavier compared to alternatives (foam yoga mats etc), it really changed the game in terms of comfort as well as warmth. In Bryce Canyon, whilst my brother shivered wearing every item of clothing he had, I was perfectly warm. This is the closest thing you can get to a bed mattress without bringing an actual bed mattress. In fact when I have lent my mat to others they have preferred to use this mat over sofa's or spare mattresses. To give a bit more detail the mattress contains a sort of foam so you are not just relying on air between your body and the ground. The mattress can be rolled up for transportation and is well made. While it is described as self-inflating, it does benefit from a few additional breaths. That being said you don't need to overdo inflating as it then becomes too firm. Overall, while it is a bit bulky when hiking, given the level of comfort it provides and not feeling sore the next day it is totally worth it."
