Description
The Alloy Pocket Trowel is a durable, lightweight and compact backpacking trowel. The handle retracts into the blade to save space in your backpack and extends to the same length as the ideal ‘cathole’ depth. It's the perfect tool for practicing Leave No Trace principles in the backcountry and is made from a lightweight and strong 6066-T6 aluminum alloy.

Absolutely. The shaft and hardened blade are made to the same specification as avalanche shovels – the Alloy trowel will chop through rocky soils or roots with ease.
